December 2012 part 2

December 2012Vol 1, Issue 1

 Making the Community Livable Again

"You'll be like a well-watered garden, A gushing spring that never runs dry. You'll be known as those who can fix anything,
restore old ruins, rebuild and renovatemake the community livable again."
-Isaiah 48:9-12 MSG PAR

With God's help we are participating in God's work of restoration, as we love and serve in the neighborhoods we live in.
Dear Ryan,
It is now seven and a half years since joining Antioch Network, and we thank God for this incredible privilege and for you who have loved us by investing in, praying for and financially supporting the work along the way.  Thank You!
We have experienced a rich array of ups and downs along the way yet we remain full of hope and confident that God will continue to fulfill his purposes as our God 'with us' commited to bring healing & restoration through His people, not only to our community, but all communities.

Christmas Outreach
Last Wednesday we partnered with Hope thru Art and Brian Holman the chaplain of the Arizona Diamondbacks, who brought a few players down with him, to provide food, gifts and clothing to many of our friends in the neighborhood who are homeless.

We had hosted two other events on Sunday and Christmas Eve in partnership with Dave Bennett and his network that provided lunch, clothing, blankets & hygiene products to 400 of our homeless friends.
